DESCRIPTION
DX7 Librarian is an application for the Macintosh which allows you to make up library of voice data for DX7. One window has one voice data, and you can open windows as many as you want. (It's only limited by partition size of the application.) When this application receives bulk dump MIDI data, new window will open and show you the parameter. You can keep 32 voices in one file, so it's easy to replace DX7's internal 32 voices.
Because almost all of the operation is performed by AppleEvent, you can record and play back your operation by using Apple Script.
This application requires :
System7 + QuickTime + Apple MIDI Manager or
System7.1 + Apple MIDI Manager

HOW TO USE
If you have DX7, I think it's very easy to use this application. All you have to do is to click parameter you want to change. Then you will see dialogs which enables you to change parameter. If "Send When Changed" item in Transmit menu is checked, parameter change Sys.Ex MIDI data will out when you change some parameter.
DX7 has EG copy function between operators, but this application enabls you to copy every parameter in operator by drag-copy.
When you select "32Voices" in Transmit menu, a dialog which includes two list is shown. The list labeled "Individual Voices" is the list of each windows you opened, and remaining list labeled "32Voices" is correspod to DX7's internal voices. You can drag-copy between each list. When you fill up right list, OK button will enabled and you can send MIDI bulk dump Sys.Ex data to DX7 or save 32Voices into one file.
Only operations in this dialog won't recorded by Apple Script.
If you hold down Option key when you select Windows menu, instead of window title, voice name will shown in that menu.

• Added new menu item "Program Change..." in Transmit menu, so you can send program change data to DX7. If DX7 is set to "SYS INFO AVAIL", DX7 sends back voice data when it gets program change data.
• Wider selection range of usable voice name characters compared with DX7. You can use these characters.
